When you are testing an idea, attention is scarce. A useful monitoring setup should help you answer three questions: can people reach the offer, can they take the next step, and who will know if something breaks? Start with the journey that makes the business viable rather than monitoring every URL.
Your first campaign is bringing visitors to a landing page, but the signup service becomes unavailable. A separate endpoint check gives you a signal even when the homepage still responds. Use the incident time window to investigate, and review campaign traffic separately before deciding whether the offer needs to change.
Before a launch, confirm expected responses and alert delivery. Each week, review incidents, slow pages and the source of visits. After changing the offer or signup page, compare observations over a sensible period instead of reacting to a single day.
Review availability and recorded goal activity separately. A traffic increase does not prove the product is working, and a successful endpoint check does not prove a complete signup journey.
